Job Description

The Director of Capital Projects leads the delivery of an extraordinary capital programme of circa £160m annually, including large-scale and high-profile projects emanating from the University's estate strategy. As a key member of the Estates team, you will thrive in guiding both in-house teams and external delivery partners, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture.

You will possess proven experience of successfully leading the delivery of large-scale portfolios of complex projects, ensuring value for money, assurance and high performance across a £multi-million annual investment in capital projects. A stakeholder management expert, you will adeptly navigate the vast array of internal and external stakeholders involved in delivery projects across the Oxford estate.

In this role, you will guide both in-house teams and external delivery partners, fostering a positive, collaborative and high-performance culture. Your ability to drive delivery-focused results, coupled with a high degree of commercial acumen, will ensure successful project outcomes and lasting relationships with stakeholders.
