About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Children and Families team in Gloucestershire County Council. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in need and at risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to provide support and protection for children and young people.
  • Build positive relationships with families and communities to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective social work practice and policies.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £36,648 - £44,428 per annum.
  • A welcome payment of £4,000.
  • An annual retention payment of £2,000.
