Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Community Social Work Team in Stroud. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting practitioners working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families to understand risk and harm and promote clarity where the level of risk is unclear.
About the TeamOur Community Social Work Team is a county-wide team comprising 8 social workers, two deputy managers, and a team manager. We are a local authority adopting and training all colleagues in systemic social work practice. Our team is viewed positively and highly valued by community practitioners in Gloucestershire.
About YouYou will have a recognised qualification in Social Work, Social Work England registration, and a full driving licence. You will also have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a frontline Social Worker. You will be well supported within our experienced team to deliver training on different aspects of safeguarding and other areas of expertise.
