Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fleet Engineer to join our team at A24Group Medical Staffing Agencies. As a Fleet Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ambulances and other vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring maximum levels of vehicle availability at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ambulances and other vehicles
* Attend breakdowns and perform repairs at the scene, ensuring safety guidelines are followed
* Prepare new vehicles for service and prepare old vehicles for disposal
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
* Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others, reporting any hazards or accidents immediately
* Participate in training courses to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Make decisions on vehicle repairs in the absence of the Fleet Supervisor
Requirements:
* City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft studies parts 1, 2 & 3 or Motor Vehicle Technicians qualification or BTEC equivalents
* Full Driving Licence
* Relevant workshop experience involving all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
