Job Summary

South Central Fleet Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Fleet Engineer to maintain vehicles on behalf of South Central Ambulance Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ambulances are available to support patients.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs of ambulances and other vehicles to the required standards.
  • Attending breakdowns and ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
  • Maintaining records of vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Participating in the Duty Mechanic standby rota system.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others.

About Us

South Central Fleet Services Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary company of South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for delivering and maintaining vehicles to the trust.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a salary of circa £37,755 per annum, plus overtime opportunities, and 25 days' holiday entitlement per annum.
