The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Maintenance Engineer to manage the day-to-day operations of our client's manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing production processes, managing maintenance activities, and supervising staff to ensure efficient operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the central engineering and safety teams to uphold standards across the site.

  1. Oversee daily operations of production machinery, tools, and equipment.
  2. Perform maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic and general maintenance.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule.
  4. Record and track maintenance activities.
  5. Assist with installation of new production systems and manage maintenance budget.
  6. Ensure site remains in good repair and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  2. Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and general maintenance systems.
  3. Familiarity with tools, appliances, and maintenance best practices.
  4. PLC experience is advantageous but not essential.
  5. Valid UK driving license (required).
