We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Support Worker to join our team at Engage Partners. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with SEMH needs in our schools across West Sussex.

About the role:

This peripatetic position will involve working across multiple sites, with a focus on improving attendance and engagement at school. You will be supported by clinical supervision and will have the opportunity to feed into the planning of our whole school SEND strategy.

We are looking for a passionate and personable individual who is confident in their ability to support the development of children and young adults. As a Psychology graduate, you will have a strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs, and be able to utilise your knowledge to make a positive impact.

About you:

  • Be passionate about supporting the development of children and young adults
  • Have a University degree in Psychology or relevant degree from within the last 2 years
  • Be personable, kind, and empathetic
  • Be versatile, willing to learn and develop your skills
  • Be confident, and have a strong sense of behaviour management
  • Have some experience with children, or be passionate about doing so
  • Driver - essential
