Catering Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Hartpury University. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve a range of food and beverages to students and staff
  • Set up and clean down dining areas, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
  • Contribute to the general cleaning of the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Manage buffet stations and replenish empty chafing dishes as required
  • Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient stock management
  • Support in monthly stock takes and kitchen operations
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive dining experience

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate
  • A DBS check will be required for this role
