Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) team as a Level 3 Apprenticeship. You will work alongside our experienced EC&I teams, learning from their expertise and gaining practical experience.

You will be responsible for carrying out second-line maintenance and repairs on essential Sellafield radiological protection equipment. This will involve working with new instrumentation that has not been commissioned yet.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above in subjects including Maths, English Language, Science, and/or a technical subject such as Design Technology.
  • A genuine interest in engineering and the operational functions of nuclear energy.

This is a full-time contract with a rising annual salary to £34,697 post-apprenticeship. The location is Cumbria.
