**Salary:** £24,717 - £35,119 per annum dependent upon qualifications

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Land Team as a School Garden Tutor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering tailored seasonal garden sessions to learners, developing curriculum opportunities for land-based learning, and maintaining the existing school garden.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver engaging and interactive garden sessions to students, promoting hands-on learning and skill development.
  • Collaborate with the School Farm Manager, Tutors, and Teachers to develop and implement land-based learning opportunities that support the school's curriculum.
  • Maintain the school garden, including small-scale pig and chicken husbandry, to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the therapy and land teams to develop immersive sensory and play environments within the garden and wider estate.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's garden program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in land-based education and horticulture.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in horticulture, education, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
