Group ALM Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Group ALM Manager to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Group ALM function, you'll play a critical role in overseeing the management of market risks across our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with experience in managing IFRS and SII balance sheet risk. You'll be responsible for developing risk management frameworks and embedding efficient investment and hedging actions within Group/divisional ALM activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Business Units to understand their market risk exposures across SII, IFRS, and liquidity
  • Developing risk management frameworks and recommending actions to the Head of Group ALM and senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the Head of Group ALM to ensure key proposals and matters for discussion are brought to the Group ALCO
  • Working closely with the 2nd line Group Risk Team to ensure consistency of understanding and challenge
