Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Data Analyst Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in sustainability, carbon management, and data science.

As a Data Analyst Apprentice, you will be part of the Sustainability Function, supporting the Whole Life Carbon team. You will work closely with teams across Sustainability and with additional support from the Group Data & Analytics team to collect, analyse, and report on carbon data.

This role offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and learning opportunities to help you develop skills in sustainability, carbon management, and data science principles. You will be responsible for building foundational knowledge in these areas and assisting in gathering and managing data from internal teams and supply chain partners.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in data and its role in problem-solving, strong communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to providing the training and support you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop foundational knowledge in sustainability, carbon impact of construction, and data science
  • Assist in gathering and managing data from internal teams and supply chain partners
  • Help analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for carbon reduction
  • Contribute to the development of carbon reports that inform decision-making
  • Support your team in fulfilling contractual obligations and meeting carbon management goals
