Senior Support Worker Role Overview

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Melksham. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, while also contributing to the management of our residential service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors to gain independence in their daily lives.
  • Assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service, including allocating shifts, booking training, and inducting new colleagues.
  • Order medication and ensure individuals are supported to manage their finances.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
