About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team at Park Surgery as a Care Home GP. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality medical care to our patients in care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality medical care to patients in care homes, adhering to local and national guidelines.
- Manage long-term conditions effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Process administrative tasks efficiently, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other associated tasks.
- Participate in practice audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Take responsibility for a specific area of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).
- Attend and contribute to practice meetings as required.
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Contribute to the review of significant and near-miss events, applying a structured approach.
Requirements:
We are looking for a GP with excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in care homes and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
