About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated nurse to join our team as a Sister/Charge Nurse in Trauma and Orthopedics. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient-centered care and leading a team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Coordinate ward activities, deputize for the Ward/Department Manager, and ensure the efficient deployment of resources.
  • Act as a mentor, assessor, and preceptor, supporting the development of student nurses, newly qualified nurses, and junior staff.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements
  • RN Adults qualification and current NMC registration.
  • Degree-level qualification in a health-related subject.
  • Relevant experience in General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Trauma & Orthopaedics.
