As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial success of projects while adhering to commercial administration procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating terms and conditions of subcontracts.
  • Managing and processing payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with contract terms, conditions, rights, and obligations.
  • Reporting monthly on the outturn Pain/Gain (if applicable).
  • Coordinating changes or amendments in accordance with NEC 3/4 Option A & C contract.
  • Analysing the impact of changes and assessing liability exposure.

You will be responsible for monitoring and tracking contract obligations, undertaking site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress, monitoring and reporting on contract performance in terms of program, cost, and key events/issues, performing the closeout process, ensuring all contract terms are met and payments are verified, obtaining and executing any required forms, reports, or clearances and resolving outstanding issues. You will also collaborate with both clients and subcontractors in all duties.

You will produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation, generate Earned Value Analysis reports, validate Subcontract Applications/Payments data, review and validate weekly cost monitors, comparing forecasted costs with actual costs, prepare monthly valuations, maintain change registers, provide commercial elements for the commercial report.

  • Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliation.
