**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our technical building services and engineering operations, ensuring a high standard of maintenance and operational efficiency at our site.

As an Operations Manager, you will report to the Senior Operations Manager and lead a team to deliver essential maintenance, engineering, and compliance support services for critical assets.

The successful candidate will oversee Operational, Planned, and Reactive maintenance, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and support service teams to ensure smooth delivery of Operational, Planned, and Reactive maintenance, along with small works and operational support for critical site assets.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Work proactively to mitigate operational risks and develop business continuity plans. Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager, PPM Contracts Manager, and Compliance Manager to uphold statutory and technical compliance.
  • Budget Management: Control engineering budgets within defined limits, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Action Plan Implementation: Develop and execute action plans based on audit findings to enhance site safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar Hard Services Operations Management or Facilities Management role, leading teams of multi-disciplined Engineers/Technicians.
  • Technical Knowledge: Network-based fire alarm, CCTV, access control systems, IDS, PA/VA, and other electronic building services. Experience of complex electrical distribution private networks up to 11KV and associated large standby generator and UPS systems, large air conditioning plant, BMS, and complex fire and security systems.
  • Problem Solving & Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Education: NVQ 2/3/4, ONC/D, HNC, or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical discipline.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
