We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Instrumentation Technician to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge scientific equipment, providing technical support to customers across the UK and internationally. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, installation, repair, and calibration of sophisticated scientific instrumentation, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
About the Role
This position requires a technically skilled and customer-focused individual with a background in field service engineering, preferably within high-value capital equipment environments. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Service, installation, repair, and calibration of a wide range of scientific instrumentation.
- Providing support at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:A competent background in field service engineering, gained within high-value capital equipment environments.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally internationally.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £52,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car, bonus scheme, and excellent opportunities for professional development.
