Physiotherapy Healthcare Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our Intermediate Care Team as part of the Integrated Community & Support Services (ICASS).
About the Role: The Intermediate Care Service provides rehabilitation to the adult population within the locality. This will be delivered to service users as in-patients, out-patients or within their own home.
Key Responsibilities: The primary function of this role will be to work with the Physiotherapy Service within Intermediate Care to deliver therapeutic treatment programmes to service users in the ward setting or their own homes, preventing hospital admission and supporting early discharge from hospital.
Requirements: You will have an SVQ Level III in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Experience working as a Physiotherapy support worker would be desirable. It would be desirable to have experience working with older people as they are the main group of service users referred.
What We Offer: We offer regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities. The ability to travel throughout the area is essential as community caseload is core to this role.
