Job Summary:

Velocity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to lead a £4m hospital refurbishment scheme in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role and drive success.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the project, including allocating resources and staff, developing programmes for project delivery, and monitoring progress. They will also identify quality expectations and ensure they are met, manage statutory and company requirements for Health, Safety and Environment compliance, and understand contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the success of the project
  • Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate on-site supervision
  • Assist in the development of programmes for project delivery and monitoring
  • Identify quality expectations and ensure these are achieved
  • Manage statutory and company requirements for managing Health, Safety and environment compliance
  • Understand the contractual requirements of the project
  • Identify and manage risk
  • Agree requirements for time, cost, and quality aspects of trade contractor packages

Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 + package.
