Job Description:

Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Business Process Improvement Specialist based out of our Manchester office.

The company aims to enhance business outcomes through data-driven strategic analysis and process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate new initiatives and recommend process enhancements, driving improved operational efficiency, revenue growth, and new product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to capture detailed requirements for system and business process design, testing, and deployment.
  • Analyze and document complex sales and billing processes, identifying existing inefficiencies and streamlining future state processes.
  • Develop comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Review existing documentation to ensure consistency with current business processes.
  • Utilize process mapping and analysis techniques to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with technical teams on story creation, backlog grooming, and other Scrum processes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools
  • Solid stakeholder interviewing skills to document current state processes
  • Strong capabilities in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • A collaborative nature; a team player who works effectively with colleagues and project stakeholders

Estimated Salary Range: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
