Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for our clients' automation systems. This will involve traveling to various customer sites across the UK, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and providing technical expertise to ensure seamless operation of our clients' systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site support and maintenance for automation systems, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  2. Travel to various customer sites across the UK to provide technical expertise and ensure seamless operation of our clients' systems.
  3. Work with our clients to identify and resolve technical issues, and provide training and support as needed.
  4. Collaborate with our team to ensure that all service jobs are executed according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  5. Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards, and that our clients are satisfied with the level of service provided.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of field service experience and a strong track record in a similar role.
  2. Working experience on automated equipment such as cranes, lifts, and conveyors.
  3. Experience with PLC and controls is advantageous.
  4. Electrical and electronic principles.
  5. Blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
  6. Knowledge of MMS (maintenance management system) programs and implementation.
  7. Preventative maintenance procedures.
  8. Industrial electrical, controls, electronics.
  9. PLCs - knowledge of Siemens S7 and/or Allen Bradley.
  10. NVQ level 3 or equivalent in engineering (electrical or mechanical).
  11. Full UK Driving licence.
  12. Experience of working within a similar role (FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Waste to recycling, Baggage Handling, Automated warehousing).
