Job Summary

monday.com is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our Global IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accessibility of our company resources, supporting 1900+ internal users, and driving the day-to-day productivity of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT system services and infrastructure, including AWS, OKTA, Palo Alto security solutions, Jamf, Intune, and other cloud-based services.
  • Oversee the organization's network systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Own IT systems project deployment from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Identify business needs and deploy optimal solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage monitoring and backup platforms to ensure high availability of critical applications.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex cases and work closely with the security team to ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
  • Assume ownership of critical IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation, resilience, and security.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging a holistic understanding of current and future technology trends.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of robust network architectures, encompassing LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess IT requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive collaborative efforts toward achieving common goals.
  • Ensure IT systems adhere to regulatory compliance standards and implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, procedures, and best practices.
  • Respond promptly to IT incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize the likelihood of recurrence.
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of proven experience in a System Administration position.
  • Experience in networking, including install/maintain network components like switches, Wi-Fi equipment, and firewalls.
  • Experience with a Cloud environment, build, maintenance, and support.
  • Experience managing Backup/DR systems.
  • Experience with SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
  • Experience managing, securing, and maintaining Windows/Linux servers.
  • Knowledge and experience with monitoring SaaS applications.
  • Experience with Device management systems such as Jamf and Intune.
  • Proven experience with scripting and automation workflows.
  • Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in end-to-end project management on a large scale/cross-company.
