About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing special purpose machinery within a factory environment. With a strong background in electrical disciplines and multi-skilled as a maintenance engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing complex machinery, including Ishida packaging machines, Loma X-rays, GEA uni-mixers, and more
  • Performing regular equipment checks and implementing preventative maintenance measures
  • Collaborating with the production team to resolve technical issues and optimize production processes
  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

Requirements

  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in an electrical discipline
  • At least 3 years experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased maintenance engineer within a factory environment
  • PLC knowledge is not essential - this can be taught
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art machinery and willingness to learn and develop new skills
