Housing Scheme Manager

Marks Consulting Partners Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Local Service Manager. This position will involve working with one of our Housing Association clients in Middlesex, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of local housing and tenancy management.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver local housing and tenancy management services, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Conduct regular building and health and safety inspections, identifying and reporting repairs as required, monitoring fire safety, and ensuring the full functionality of services and alarm systems.
- Ensure all schemes are compliant with health and safety obligations, following the organization's health and safety procedures.
- Be proactive in local rent management, including collection and escalation of arrears issues.
- Effectively manage the letting of properties within the organization's policies, supporting the voids process with asset and repairs colleagues.
- Manage and deliver tenancy sign-ups for new tenants, ensuring clear communication of tenancy and rent conditions.
- Manage anti-social behaviour, ensuring relevant risk assessments and action plans are completed and good record-keeping is maintained.
- 2 years of experience in housing management, with a strong understanding of tenant and landlord roles and responsibilities.
- Experience working with older or vulnerable people, either in a voluntary capacity or with other vulnerable groups.
- Understanding of health and safety issues affecting tenants, older persons, and general housing management.
