Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Networks Engineer to join our fast-paced IT division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining stable, secure, and performant networks across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan cloud environment networking, including cloud compute requirements
  • Work with the Platform Engineering team to implement and maintain a secure network within the bank
  • Implement and manage cloud network infrastructure and services, including firewalls and access policies
  • Experience using and implementing Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Azure services
  • Automate network creation and configuration using Terraform and Ansible, adopting Infrastructure as Code
  • Improve site reliability through monitoring and alerting
  • Switching/Routing experience (Ideally minimum CCNA/JNCIA level)
  • Firewall experience (Preferably experience with URL filtering/Proxy in addition to Layer 7 policy Implementations)
  • Understanding and experience using Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft AZ-104 and/or AZ-700 desirable
  • Palo Alto Network PNCSA certification desirable
  • Previous experience with wireless networks (preferably Meraki)
