About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits and manage teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit work
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs
  • Manage and develop a team of auditors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality audit work
  • Ensure that audit work is delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in audit regulations and standards
Requirements
  • ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering
  • Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures
  • Project Management experience
