Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address the complex needs of clients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including psychological and neuropsychological tests, to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy, to support clients and their families.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to professional development and continuing education.
