We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical psychology services to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and adolescents, including the use of psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, and structured observations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions and adapting to the unique needs of each client.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including professionals from other agencies, to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
- Participate in the CAMHS multi-disciplinary on-call system for emergency referrals, ensuring timely and effective response to client needs.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
