About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and co-morbid mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations for clients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and in-patient settings.
• Develop and implement plans for the formal psychological treatments and/or management of clients' mental health or other complex psychological problems.
• Provide specialist child neuropsychology assessments, advice, and consultation to other NHS professionals, clients, and their families.
Requirements
• Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Excellent skills in assessment, formulation, evaluation, and treatment, using complex methods frequently requiring sustained and intense concentration.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, complex technical and/or clinically sensitive information to service users, their families, careers, and other professional colleagues.
