About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Market Surveillance Specialist to collaborate with our London team. This position will enable you to develop a deep understanding of TradingHub's model-based approach to market abuse surveillance and leverage your knowledge of capital markets to drive new revenue generation.

As a key member, you'll be responsible for understanding customer needs through direct contact and analysis of trade data, developing customer pitches, running PoCs, and onboarding new customers. You'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, including our sales and engineering teams. This role is suited for professionals with initial experience working in trading, risk management, or quantitative capacities within sell-side or buy-side institutions.

Main Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in financial markets from a trading, risk management, or quantitative perspective
  • Hands-on skills in a programming/scripting language such as C#, C++, Java, or Python
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate closely with customers
  • Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to summarise information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Able to prioritise, assign, and manage competing customer needs
  • Able to deliver projects to agreed deadlines
  • A creative thinker, who strives to develop customer opportunities with a key focus on automation and efficiency where possible
  • Experience working within fixed income is highly desirable
