We are in search of a proficient Flexo Printing Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Taylor Higson. Our organization is recognized for its excellence in the packaging and labeling sector, boasting a global presence with multiple operational sites. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing a Nilpeter FA-4 Press, although this is not a strict requirement. The core duties of this position will involve configuring and operating flexographic printing machinery to deliver superior packaging and labeling solutions. The successful applicant will ensure that all printed outputs adhere to the specified quality benchmarks and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain flexographic printing equipment
  • Oversee the printing workflow to guarantee consistent quality
  • Identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the printing process
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
  • Keep precise production documentation and reports
  • Guide and oversee machine operations while effectively communicating with your team
  • Ensure your team is well-informed about their tasks
  • Engage with other departments throughout the production cycle
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations to foster a secure working environment
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the corrugated sector with relevant flexographic printing expertise
  • Familiarity with operating a Nilpeter FA-4 is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships with colleagues
  • Capable of achieving results by setting high standards and clear objectives
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence.

Work Schedule:

Rotating shift pattern:

6am – 1:30pm

1:30pm – 9pm (Early finish of 8 pm on Fridays)

9pm – 6am (4 shifts during this week)

Compensation:
