Flexographic Printing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printer to join our client's team at Taylor Higson, a leading packaging and labels company with a global presence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in operating flexographic printing machines, with a strong understanding of the corrugated industry and its production processes. The primary responsibilities of the role will include setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality packaging and labels, ensuring that all printed materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality packaging and labels
- Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent print quality and troubleshoot any issues that may occur
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure production targets are met and maintain accurate production records and reports
- Lead and supervise machine operation by communicating with your team and ensuring they are fully informed of their workload
- Communicate with other departments during the entire production process and adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Experience in the corrugated industry with relevant experience of flexographic printing
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop team working and problem-solving
- PC literacy and ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues
- Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
Working Hours:
The role will involve working a one-week rotating shift pattern, with shifts including 6am – 1:30pm, 1:30pm – 9pm, and 9pm – 6am.
Salary:
The salary is negotiable depending on experience, as an industry-leading company, we are willing to pay above and beyond the going rate depending on the candidate.
