Detailed Job Description

In this exciting role, you will work under the direction of a radiologist to conduct general and vascular examinations using diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and vascular examinations using diagnostic ultrasound equipment
  • Exercise good judgment in ascertaining necessary measurements for the area being examined
  • Perform all computer processing for all ultrasound examinations
  • Deliver patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer
  • Graduate of an approved RDMS program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology
