About the Role
Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse (Bank) to join our Haematology & Oncology Day Unit. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and be an ambassador for Nuffield Health, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and an empathetic approach to meet each individual patient's needs.
- Administer systemic anti-cancer therapy and supportive treatments, ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Assist with Holistic Needs Assessments, UKONS triage, and assessments, providing comprehensive care to our patients.
- Provide care for acute oncological and haematological emergencies, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Interact with practitioners from other departments, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Educate patients in the management of their care, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.

Person Specification
- Be NMC registered and a qualified nurse.
- Have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent).
- Have a minimum of 6 months SACT administration experience.
- Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation, and accessing Central Venous Access Devices.
- Be competent in UKONS triage.
