Senior Staff Nurse (Bank) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for leading by example and being an ambassador for Nuffield Health. You will use your clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each individual patient's needs, ensuring excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer systemic anti-cancer therapy and supportive treatments
  • Assist with Holistic Needs Assessments
  • Complete UKONS triage and assessments
  • Provide care for acute oncological and haematological emergencies
  • Interact with practitioners from other departments
  • Educate patients in the management of their care
  • Assist with outpatient consultant clinics
Requirements:
  • NMC registered and a qualified nurse
  • UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 6 months SACT administration experience
  • Proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation, and accessing Central Venous Access Devices
  • Competent in UKONS triage
Desirable:
  • Qualification in SACT
  • Advanced communication training
