We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of individual needs and learning styles to access learning and address challenging behaviour.
Main Responsibilities- Support students learning within the PBSC, either in groups or through 1:1 work, adapting and interpreting lessons and instructions to students who are working with the PBSC.
- Contribute to the recording of students behaviour, both positive and negative, within the PBSC, in conjunction with the PBSC Co-Ordinator and other professionals as appropriate.
- Provide regular feedback about students to tutors and Student Development Team members, and occasional clerical duties such as photocopying and collating materials.
- Support the delivery of the literacy and mathematics strategy along with other aspects of the curriculum offered by the school.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students at the school, holding enhanced DBS clearance with children's barred list checks.
