About the Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects.
We are seeking to recruit a Sub Agent with extensive experience in Earthworks to join our team. As a Sub Agent, you will assist with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation, and construction programmes. You will also liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
This position will manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. You will also assist with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ).
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
- Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced.
- Mandatory SMSTS.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Must have experience working in Earthworks.
- Previous experience in quality assurance and geotechnical management is preferred.
- Good team skills.
