Construction Project Coordinator

We Are Footprint is a successful Civil Engineering and Building Contractor specialising in Infrastructure and Groundworks.
Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 negotiable + package per annum
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor and possess excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel. They will also be responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial aspects of assigned projects to maximise value and collaborating with the Finance and Procurement departments accordingly.
Apart from these responsibilities, they must ensure all commercial accountabilities are undertaken in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy and measure. The candidate must also identify and analyse potential debt risks, negotiate financial reconciliation with third parties, and forecast monthly and annual profit figures ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout the lifetime of the project.
The successful candidate will also understand the principles of safety on sites and projects, ensuring that any safety concerns are addressed immediately. Additionally, they must build strong working relationships with clients, including social networking, and allocate work to sub-contractors, assisting with procurement when required.
In order to meet the requirements for this position, the candidate must hold a GCSE minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Math's and English, along with a Minimum 3 A-Levels at Grade B and above or equivalent BTEC. Relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor is also essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, willing to work hard, and demonstrate an extremely high level of confidentiality. Excellent organisational skills are also required, as well as the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyse information skilfully, and show excellent interpersonal skills.
