We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of HR and People Development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operational running of HR and admin functions, support the Chief Operating Officer in building and strengthening HR systems, and drive people development to ensure they are fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with all managers across the organisation. They will be responsible for updating policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a culture of co-production within the organisation.
Oasis Community Housing is a Christian response to homelessness and disadvantage, providing housing, support, and other specialised services. We value diversity and promote equality of opportunity, and we encourage applications from suitably skilled candidates from all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational running of HR and admin functions
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in building and strengthening HR systems
- Drive people development to ensure HR systems are fit for purpose
- Update policies and procedures for Oasis Community Housing
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation
- Promote a culture of co-production within the organisation
Requirements:
- Strong background in HR
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all managers across the organisation
- Practising Christian (essential)
