Customer Service Associate – Part Time, 16 hours, evenings & weekends

We are seeking to hire a new customer service associate for our retail outlet. This role offers a permanent part-time position with a variety of shifts, requiring a minimum of 16 hours over 4 days each week, including weekends.

Please be aware that this role necessitates availability for shifts during weekday evenings and throughout the weekend. If you are unable to work during these times, this position may not be suitable for you.

Compensation & Benefits:

Your earnings will be determined by your age:

Ages 16-20 = £9.40 per hour

Ages 21+ = £11.54 per hour

As a customer service associate, your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming all customers with a friendly demeanor and a simple greeting.

Assisting customers in locating the products they need.

Providing prompt and courteous service at the checkout, always offering assistance with packing and leaving a positive impression with a friendly farewell.

Handling inventory with care while managing deliveries, efficiently placing items into storage and onto shelves for customer access.

Collaborating with your team to complete daily and weekly tasks that ensure our stores remain safe, clean, and organized.

You will need:

A friendly, positive, and diligent work ethic.

A willingness to stay busy, as there will always be tasks to complete. You will transition from managing deliveries to serving customers at the checkout, assisting shoppers on the sales floor, and performing essential cleaning and stock rotation duties.

Reliability, as you will play a crucial role in a small team. Your colleagues and customers will depend on you to perform your best during each shift.

A degree of flexibility regarding your shifts. When other team members are on leave, you may be required to adjust your hours to cover for them. Schedules are planned three weeks in advance, and your commitments outside of work will always be considered when arranging your shifts.
