Next Energy Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced ECO Operations Manager to join our team as a key member of the ECO Delivery Team. The successful candidate will support the Head of ECO Delivery in strategic decision-making and be accountable for delivering financial targets within their area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent external and internal client satisfaction through effective project management and budget control.
- Conduct client meetings to discuss progress and address concerns, fostering robust relationships.
- Attend and conduct regular team briefings to keep staff informed of program priorities and updates.
- Ensure the financial viability of projects, considering all relevant factors to maximize financial returns.
- Ensure all sites comply with health and safety requirements and maintain comprehensive safety files.
- Maximize the profitability of contracts within the area of responsibility and deliver the required results.
- Analyze performance trends and opportunities, determining how best to turn insights into real performance improvements in the business.
- Support and drive the implementation of performance improvements with operational teams.
- Day-to-day management of Department Managers across multiple disciplines, including management of monitoring variations and investigating inconsistencies.
- Notify relevant parties of any concerns or disputes with clear plans in place to resolve.
- Lead, develop, manage, and motivate a high-performing team to agreed standards, ensuring the client receives services of the highest quality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Operational Manager role within ECO is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to interpret and utilize financial and commercial information.
- Excellent people skills and communication skills.
- Achieve set standards and operate to performance criteria, for example, health and safety.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working with multiple systems and platforms, for example, SharePoint and full Microsoft suite.
- Able to take a flexible approach to workload and prioritization.
