We are seeking a highly experienced Senior FP&A analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the role will assist the team with the production of the Group's three-year business plan, budget, and rolling forecast; together with analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, strong thought leadership, and a critical mindset. They will have the ability to work independently, to challenge, build strong relationships, and communicate well across the team and the wider business.

The role involves:

  • Assisting with the preparation of the Group budget and reforecasting process, collaborating with product owners and cost centre managers.
  • Supporting the Group's annual business planning process and the development and evolution of the three-year business plan.
  • Drafting reports to the Board and senior management.
  • Researching macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis to support decision making in the business, producing reports and projections based on the analysis conducted.
  • Developing simple financial models that address complex issues.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant (minimum of 6 years PQE in FP&A, or in a comparable role).
  • Experience leading and managing a team (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level).
  • Strong mathematical, financial analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organisation.
  • Awareness of macroeconomic variables and how they impact business performance.
  • Ability to simplify the complex.
