Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Planning and Analysis expert to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and planning, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of the Group budget and reforecasting process, collaborating with product owners and cost centre managers
  • Support the Group's annual business planning process and the development and evolution of the three-year business plan
  • Draft reports to the Board and senior management
  • Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions
  • Ad hoc analysis to support decision making in the business, producing reports and projections based on the analysis conducted
  • Develop simple financial models that address complex issues
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant (minimum of 6 years PQE in FP&A, or in a comparable role)
  • Experience leading and managing a team (desirable but not essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced level)
  • Strong mathematical, financial analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organisation
  • Awareness of macroeconomic variables and how they impact business performance
  • Ability to simplify the complex
