About Us

Mitia, a leading facilities management company, is seeking an Environmental Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with 12.5 hours per week, ideally Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9am. The salary for this role is £13.50 per hour. You will work at our location in Co Op, Helmsley, North Yorkshire, England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
  • Build knowledge and understanding of designated cleaning areas, including when work needs to be done and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
  • Follow Health and Safety requirements.
  • Undertake training required to deliver the cleaning role successfully.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and read basic English.
  • Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible approach to the role.
  • Self-driven, determined, reliable, and hardworking with a professional attitude.
