- A high-end manufacturer / fabrication business
- An organisation linked to interior / building design and architecture
Due to continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a diligent and self-motivated individual to join Bisca’s UK based operations as Head of New Business.
In this role, you will work with one of the most talented teams of people in our industry. Your input will be deeply embedded within our business operations and will be central to driving performance and upholding our superior standards.
**About Bisca**
As a luxury fabrication specialist, Bisca will this year celebrate its 30th anniversary having built an award-winning reputation, which sits at the forefront of bespoke staircase design and manufacture. Renowned for exceptional quality and craftmanship, our portfolio features some truly exquisite properties and staircase designs commissioned worldwide; while the positive client feedback we receive remains unsurpassed within our industry.
Due to a consistently healthy pipeline of sales, this person will play a critical role in maintaining Bisca’s market-leading position and enhancing both financial performance and profitability. You will work within a close knit and collaborative team where your value will be recognised and you will play an essential role in bringing to life our truly unique and exclusive staircase designs.
**Job Specification**
Working closely alongside Bisca’s Founder / Design Director and our team of leading design engineers, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maximising opportunities for securing future commissions
- Acting as an ambassador for Bisca’s exclusive brand values
- Building a detailed product knowledge so customer needs can be identified/fulfilled
- Nurturing and managing strong client relationships from initial contact through to project completion.
You will be competent in developing focused sales strategies with integrated reporting structures. These will allow our senior leadership team to monitor business performance and align marketing efforts to positively influence your given objectives.
A key element of this role will be to handle all incoming sales enquiries in a timely manner - exploiting the potential of both short-term, long-term and repeat business opportunities. Furthermore, you will seek to develop and grow relationships with professional partner networks including architects and interior designers.
We are looking for a personable and ambitious character who will inject fresh energy to our business. Your passionate nature will create a lasting first impression for each client we work with. Equally, when our clients visit Bisca’s HQ for face-to-face meetings and design briefings, it will be your responsibility to welcome them to site and showcase the expertise and exceptional talent upon which our business foundations have been built.
**Skills & Experience**
- A proven track record in sales management and successfully converting new business opportunities.
- The confidence to negotiate where necessary and demonstrate a strong commercial aptitude when developing costing proposals.
- Experience of working with either luxury brands, the fabrication/manufacturing sector or a business linked to interior / building design and architecture.
- Excellent communication skills with an organised and methodical approach to progressing, logging and responding to sales leads within agreed timeframes.
- Management of CRM data and systems to ensure a smooth client experience - gaining support for achieving this from all internal stakeholders.
- Ability to define sales targets and metrics which drive performance and can be reported on each month.
- A good understanding of marketing and the importance of aligning messages so that Bisca’s value proposition is communicated consistently to optimise sales outcomes.
- A desire to build strong working relationships and a close rapport with clients, project partners and internal stakeholders alike.
- Excellent time management and a flexible mindset so individual client needs are met and their experience is synonymous with Bisca’s service promise.
- An understanding or some practical experience of building /renovation projects would be desirable.

Based at our HQ premises in the quaint market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire, this position is full time, Monday to Friday each week. There may be the potential for some flexibility in your working arrangement in the future.
