About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sister/Charge Nurse in Trauma and Orthopedics at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient-centered care, ensuring the delivery of quality service through leadership and efficient deployment of available resources.
  • Act as a mentor, assessor, and preceptor, motivating and supporting safe and effective care to student nurses, newly qualified nurses, and junior staff.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Ward/Department Manager, coordinating all ward activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.

Requirements
  • RN Adults
  • Current NMC registration
  • Relevant experience in General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Trauma & Orthopaedics
Desirable Qualifications
  • ECDL
  • Counselling Skills Certificate qualification
  • Degree-level qualification in a health-related subject
