About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at Northwich Infirmary. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the needs of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Provide escort and transfer services for patients as directed by the team, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations, demonstrating a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Contribute to the recording and storing of information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience as a care worker or HCA, with a strong understanding of patient care principles.
  • NVQ 3 qualification or currently studying, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • OPD experience, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
