About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at One 2 One Support (Cheshire) Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities in a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Support service users in all aspects of their daily lives, including personal care, medication management, and daily activities.
  • Participate in the creation of a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
  • Participate in training and development courses to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in home care or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
  • DBS clearance (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 2 certificate in Health & Social Care (desirable).

Working Hours

Roles will include a mixture of shifts, Monday to Friday, daytime, evenings, weekends (alternate weekends, working every other weekend), and sleep-in duties in accordance with the rota system.
