We are seeking a dedicated Young People Advocate to join our team at Co-operatives UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the implementation of our youth strategy and contribute to the development of initiatives that promote youth involvement in co-operatives.

You will play a key role in fostering an inclusive environment that encourages youth participation and representation in co-operative initiatives, while also supporting the communications team in creating engaging content and promotional materials.

The estimated salary for this role is £26,218 per annum, reflecting the importance of this position in promoting co-operative values and engaging with young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of youth initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement based on feedback and research.
  • Collect feedback from young people to inform program development and policy recommendations.
  • Attend and represent Co-operatives UK at youth-focused conferences, events, and forums to share insights and gather best practices from other organisations.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young people.
  • Proficient in digital tools and social media platforms for engagement, including creating digital content to support campaigns and events.
